At the 5th century before J-C, Perses invaded Greece while accosting in Marathon, a small city to about 35 km of Athens. The Athénienne army seriously exceeded by the Perse army sent messengers in all Greece to ask for assistance. The origin of the marathon comes from the history of a herald named Eukles which run of the town of Marathon to Athens to announce the victory of the greeks before dying .
